We are introducing you the school of ancient Babylonian astrology “The Magi”. We, the founders Krasi Attasio and Andreana Hristova are sidereal astrologers. More about about us you will find on our website. We created this site as a mission with the sole purpose of returning the true astrological knowledge of the ancients, which has been buried for many years under the saliva of time. Truths need to be recalled often because they have the ability of being quickly forgotten.
The astrology of ancient Mesopotamia was created about 8000 years ago. Therefore, the knowledge we will share in these lessons will be a reflection of this remote time of antiquity. The cosmos and we go spiraling and harmoniously up the divine path. The universe and the cosmos move in a harmonious symphony with the planets, the luminaries, the stars and the constellations. The ancient astrology best reflects this life movement, that we are also part of. The Earth precession is only a small part of this syncronicity. The knowledge of antiquity is eternal, it has endured the testing of time and is applicable to every astrological age because it is live and sacred. But, unfortunately, curently it reaches only few seekers of ancient secrets and mysteries. Our mission is to reveal astrological keys and time-honored truths forgotten in the past and to review the ancient astrology the way it was used in the past, powerful, precise and esoteric.
We, like many other astrologers, have been educated initially the rules of the western astrology, but there comes a moment when every astrologer reaches certain level of understanding, that a lot is missing in the modern astrology and, that there are distortions and lost knowledge.
Ancient astrology is based on the heavenly harmony and it reveals everything about man. Our astrological courses in ancient astrology are based on deep studies of ancient teksts and on the astronomical data of the life cosmos. These courses will give you very deep and specific knowledge of babylonian and traditional astrology. Only from our courses without the need to search for additional sources, you will be capable of making horoscopes with predicions with the keys and the means of the ancient priests astronomers. You will have knowledge of the bright stars in the sky and what they bring to the horoscope. You will know what a planet in hays or in sect is, what is the significance of the planets as Morning and Evening stars in the horoscope, and the differences they denote to the horoscope. You will learn about the lunar phases and their meanings. You will get very deep insight about the rising times of planets and signs, the heliacal phases and the primary directions. You will gain deep knowledge of the aspects of the planets. You will also learn about the many meaning of the invisible planets in the horoscope, about the terms of the signs, decanats, and dodecatemoria, as well as many ancient predictive techniques.
This valuable, golden knowledge will be presented to you in accessible and easy to understand and apply in practice way. And if you manage to use the knowledge for good and with love to help others, you will have gained a lot. The bulgarian prophet Slava Sevrukova said the following in the 1970s: the modern astrology does not work, because the sky has changed, and, that time will come when ancient astrology will be revived.
The time has come.
Towards the end of the 19th century, a large number of babylonian cuneiform tablets were discovered, some of which were part of King Ashurbanipal’s 7th-century BC great library, as well as others found throughout the modern mesopotamian land, now modern Iraq . Those artefacts include cuneiform tablets of stellar observations, prophecies, Moon tablets, solar tablets, Jupiter tablets, Venus tablets, eclipses analyses and all the omens associated with them, fixed stars, babylonian ephemeris, babylonian horoscopes. All these artifacts send us to 3000 years BC and beyond. We also analyse the translation of the astrolabe, which is a circle steller map dividing the sky into three paths to which the respective fixed stars belong- the paths of Ea, Anu, Enlil. Many of those artefacts including the Enuma Anu Enlil’s tablets, were ordered and made to remain for us by the great astrologer King Sargon the Great. We use the above sources thanks to the scientists who have translated and deciphered most of them, as Rocheberg, Pingree, Sachs, Newgebauer, Kugler, Renier, R. Kolev, Epping, U. Koch, C. Fagan, Brown and others. We also gain knowledge from Anubio, Valens, Firmicus, Paul of Alexandria, Manitus. Most of those sources come from ancient Greece and Egypt between the first and third centuries after Christ.
We systematize the ancient knowledge of Hermes Trismegistus, which was given to him 5000 BC. Hermes was called then King Enmeduranki, was a saint and ruled of Sipar, a land from before the flood. Then Shamash-the Sun God and Adad-the God of the Storm rose him hign in the sky and let him sit on a huge golden throne and showed him the secrets of the Earth and the Sky, and gave him the tablets of the Gods, and thought him how to predict the future and put in his hand a rod of cedar- the favourite to all kings. So, he shared the knowledge with the men of Nippur, Sippar and Babylon, raised them high in the sky as the Gods raised him, and gave them knowledge. He gave them the Enuma Anu Enlil cuneiform tablets, that we spoke about, and tought them how to compute and interpret the signs.
The golden epochs of astrology
According to research and translation of acadian tablets by R. Kolev, we know that the astronomical information in them is concentrated only in four time periods: 5500 BC, 2300 BC, 1300 BC, and 800 BC, because those were the epochs of bloom in astrology or the golden epochs of astrology. These epochs were also associated with common cultural flowering, because during the:
- first epoch 5500 BC, the first temple of Enki was built, the city of Eridu was built as well about 2100 BC during the time of Sargon the Great.
- Then, the first tablets of Uruk were created somewhen in 3600 BC.
- The epoch of Gilgamesh was written around 2300-2000 BC during Sargon the Great’s dynasty.
- The last Sumerian Kingdom associated with the sumerian classics is around 2150-2000 BC until when the accadians conquered Sumer around 1600 BC.
- From 1900 to 1400 BC, the old-assyrians rule, from 1600 to 1155 BC the cassites rule, being foreign tribes that dominated in Babylon.
- From 1400 to 1050 BC is middle assyrian epoch, followed by the new assyrian from 625-538 BC.
- The new babylonian persian dominion is between 538-33 BC and then starts the Hellenistic and ancient Greek period, which period also marks a different a bit altered astrology, as during this era the real ancient astrological knowledge gradually is being forgotten.
We come to our epoch of the revival of the ancient astrology. Our aim is to systematize and return the very oldest and purest knowledge of antiquity and apply, enrich and develop for our contemporary era- the last ages of sidereal Pisces, at the entrance of the spiritual, astrological and esoteric epoch of Aquarius. The knowledge of constellations, planets, stars will be astronomical because astronomy and astrology have been inherently connected since ancient times with the ancient Mesopotamian mythology, because every planet, constellation, star have a spirit, spirits that govern it and take care of it. This knowledge is encoded in the mythology. On our site you will find well-structured video tutorials, self-tests for knowledge verification, a forum for asking questions about ancient astrology, myths, signs and omens from antiquity.
The Starry Sky
We made a brief description of our school of ancient astrology. In a bit better detail we will draft what the focus of the studies will be. The ancient astrologer observed everything in heaven with naked eye, then he recorded his observations on scrolls and tablets to make the knowledge eternal. Imagine him this way: there was a high tower in the yard of the temple, designed to climb it and observe the sky with the naked eye. They used to watch the sky after sunset or before sunrise and kept diaries, recorded everything they see so that we can now find a small fraction of it and build our new science on it. The art of ancient astrology.
The astrologer was obligatory both- astronomer and mathematician, and he understood and felt everything the sky wanted to show him. The priest astrologer watched everything- fixed stars, constellations, and painted them in his imagination as the celestial images of humans, animals and mythological beings, the simultaneous rising of stars and the constellations, the phases of the planets and stars related to their positions to the sun -heliacal phases. That’s exactly what we’re going to tell you in a series of video tutorials, but in a very understandable way. It is important to feel the heaven and all the living creatures we are connected with, and this is only possible with deep understanding of the cosmos.
It is also important to understand, that the sky is not in a stationary state, but moves as the Earth’s axis turns, which changes her degree with every passing minute. According to the Earth precession, the points of the equinoxes and the solstices change and the zodiac signs evolve, and with them we evolve as well. Everything in heaven moves and changes. The talent of the ancient astrologer is to apply all these changes of heaven on astrology. This is the literal manifestation of the hermetic rule: What above, so below…
The knowledge of the fixed stars we refer to, comes from translations of Hermes’ doctrine. Hermes is the father of astrology. His doctrine about the fixed stars is unmistakable and works on individual as well as on events and mundane horoscopes. The arabs of antiquity also talk about the hermetic stars, and we will explain it to you simply and in summary. We will introduce you the royal stars and key positions of Hermes, where you should seek them and the significant fixed stars in the horoscope, in order only by determening the positions of the stars in the native chart, to be able to make precise analysis of one’s personality.
Constellations and paranatelonta
The parantelontas are the stars and constellations rising together. We will examine them separately for each astrological constellation and sign. The constellations are the heavenly images of mistical and mythological creatures, anymals, people, which are not limited within the zodiacal sign. The constellations in our galaxy interrelate with each other, interact, have their own character, image and different manifestations, and are composed of million stars with which they rise together. The most important stars known from antiquity will be analyzed along with the constellations that are relevant to the zodiac. We will take into account the meanings of their heavenly images and manifestations.
The heliacal phases of the planets
Planets also have life like every creature in our universe. They are born, live and die. This cycle is related to the Sun-Helios from Greek. Hence a heliacal cycle. The heliacal phase of a star or planet begins with its “birth” when it first becomes visible near the Sun’s rays. Its most important point of life is when it reaches the brightest light, and “dies” again when we see it for the last time before hiding in the burning rays of the Sun.
These phases of the planets are extremely important and have different meaning and manifest in a different way in the horoscope. Every phase gives different characteristics and meanigs of the planet. The heliacal phases are visible in the starry sky with naked eye. In ancient times, the astrological priest has come to this knowledge by constantly observing the sky at sunset and sunrise, and keeping statistics by compiling star maps and calendars.
This is a very brief description of the approach of the ancient priests astrologers. We will also teach you the aspect theory of antiquity, the rising times of planets and signs, the predictive techniques of antiquity, methods of rectifying the horoscope, primary directories, the path of the Moon, the omens. At a later stage, we will teach you electional, mundane astrology, astrology of relationships, and much more, all through the eyes of the ancients of Mesopotamia applied to our epoch at the borderline of Pisces and Aquarius.
We wish you pleasant and very productive studies with us!
